Under the lift program, the initiative titled "Improving the livelihoods of Dalits and small anthropological people through integrated activities of alternative professions" is being implemented in Nawabganj upazila of Dinajpur district through the Village Development Center (GBK).  The initiative provides financial and technical assistance to Dalits and minorities for sustainable development in today's developing society, creating jobs as well as realizing the dream of entrepreneurship.

 This initiative of PKSF and JBK is increasing the productive and unproductive resources of most households.  Starting from small business, cow fattening, golden hen rearing, goat rearing in mancha system, commercial grass farming, hen rearing etc. are being successfully involved and benefited in various activities.  As a result, they are recognized and respected by their fellow citizens today for embracing and nurturing issues such as their own culture, traditions, customs, language and existence.
